2025 Midwest Onewheel WinMan Enduro & Dual Slalom Trail Race - Rules and Regulations

6 stage Enduro Date: Saturday, September 20th, 2024 

Enduro Check In: 7-9am. Racer meeting at 8:30am. Racing starts at 9 am. Pro class to run stage 1 first. Stages will run in order from 1-6. In this order: Pro, Expert, Amateur, Grom, and Beginner classes to follow. Beginner and Grom classes will complete stages 1 - 4 for the the race (feel free to run stages 5 & 6 for fun)! Fit all stages in by 5pm. 

All racers are required to wear a helmet and wrist guards. The use of elbow pads and knee pads is strongly recommended. 

Prizes: Trophies to the top 3 in ALL classes and races 

*Enduro fastest pro man = $500+ (TBD)

*Enduro fastest pro woman = $500+ (TBD) 

*Enduro fastest pro Clydesdale = $500+ (TBD) 

*Dual Slalom Pro men Top 3 = $250, $150, $100 (TBD) 

*Dual Slalom Pro woman Top 3 = $250, $150, $100 (TBD)

We’re thrilled to announce the 2025 Dirtsurferz Onewheel Enduro Series! This exciting series will feature three unique races where riders earn points across all events. At the season’s end, we’ll crown champions in every race class—from beginner to pro. The WinMan Enduro is stop #2 of 3 for the series! 

This is a race for everyone! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just getting started, the Dirtsurferz Enduro Series has a spot for you. With multiple race classes, riders of all skill levels can compete, challenge themselves, and be part of an incredible community.

Big cash prizes will be awarded to the top three Pro Class riders (amount TBD).

Thanks to the year-over-year growth and success of the Dirtsurferz and WinMan Enduro races, we’re confident in delivering a fun, inclusive, professionally run, trail-focused enduro race series. This series is designed to celebrate our sport and challenge riders to push their limits.

This enduro style single track trail race will consist of 6 stages totaling in 7+ miles of distance. Each stage will be ran from start gate to finish gate one time by each racer. The stages will be ran in order from 1 to 6 starting with the Pro Men's classes starting first at 9am The fastest time after completing all stages will be the winner of the entered class. Please read through the different class options on the registration page. This year is completely open class, bring what you think you are fastest on and race it! *all classes are open to all board modifications and software with no board restrictions. There will be no course cutting allowed, riders must ride within the bounds of the trail.  Anyone caught or suspected of taking a short cut off trail will be evaluated by the race organizer for disqualification. If found the rider deviated from the course for a safety reason, to save a fall, or other necessary reason, the race organize may choose to not disqualify or impose a time penalty that is appropriate. 

Re- Run rule: Causes for re run could be rider impediment, stopping for an injured rider (ALWAYS STOP for a downed rider), a safety impediment, etc. Re runs must be granted at the discretion of an official race organizer.  Any un approved re runs will be subject to disqualification. Mechanical issue or rider error is not cause for a re run.

All stages will be timed using a professional timing system and timing management with professional Onewheel race management team. 

Please respect WinMan’s trails, other trail users, spectators, racers, volunteers, vendors, and trail system who is allowing us to host the event! WinMan is a SMOKE FREE property. No littering, no illicit drug use, ride within your means. We are very fortunate – consider how you act as one reflects on the whole community. You must follow all trail system rules (posted on the property at the trail head and at www.winmantrails.com).  If you have the means, considering becoming a WinMan Trails member.  Keep in mind memberships and donations to WinMan Trails are appreciated and keep trail systems like this well maintained and expanding.  All proceeds from this years event will go back into future events at this trail system and donated to WinMan Trails.
 

Rules and Regulations for the Dual Slalom Race: 

Date: Sunday, September 22st. 

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 in each class. Cash prize TBD. 

Check in at the Chalet Sunday 8-9am. Racing starts at 9am at Twin's trail start gate. We plan to complete the race as fast as possible. Everyone who is racing must be present and ready to race/spectate by 9am. 

BACK AGAIN FOR 2025! Sunday Dual Slalom Head to Head bracket style race was a crowd favorite last year. So we've gotta run it back. This will be a single elimination bracket. Riders will race head to head on WinMan Trails new twins trail, which is brand new - measured and legitimate dual slalom trail. Simple and sweet, no board restrictions. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 riders in each class. This is a spectator friendly race and trail, bring your family and friends to come watch it all go down! Please note: Classesmay be combined or switched up to create the proper numbers needed for the bracket style race format. 
 

Please note: we will use stage #2 from the enduro race to determine qualifying times and race order for the Dual Slalom race. If you do not race in the enduro you will be allowed to ride the one stage Saturday to qualify. If you choose to not run the stage you will be qualify last. 

*Rules are subject to change at any time. Rules and penalties are determined by the race organizer(s). The pre-race meeting is held to address race specifics, answer questions, and announce any changes to the rules. Rule violations must be submitted to the race organizer within 30 minutes of the last competitor finishing the final stage.
